ThaPlanka was established in 2020 by Thabang Shinners who is self-taught carpenter by watching videos, when he started thaplanka, he did not know how to use a circular saw,angle grinder, jigsaw and others but he managed through the use of online resources hence our motto is NO RISK, NO STORY.

The inspiration came from watching videos of woodworking and always visiting the page that are woodwork related and he also wanted to walk in the footsteps of his father.
